I heard the sound but I didn't come out of the house because I was not sure what was going on. So sad and may God be with them and their families.

Without knowing what happened here, it’s significant that head on collisions often happen in the presence of double barrier lines. As seems to have happened here.

i went passed there...so sad i pray for these accident enough now lot of blood has washed away😭😭😭

Let's just pray the family's will be okay so sad πŸ’”

And everyone is chirping about what a great job the authorities are doing!

There are so so many cops there? How the hell can this happen????? Whenever we drive past there There is always a bunch of people Drinking in the parking lot? Where are the cops then?

This is unacceptable. The beaches might belong to everybody as widely advertised. But where do we draw the line with hundreds of drunken lawless people decending on our beaches to cause havoc. The beaches is places where people should be able to relax, enjoy the beauty and have fun. Now it's becoming a unpleasant experience for all the innocent parties involved. People from up country safe months to pay for a well deserved break at our beaches. Now we are once again hanging our heads in shame because the locals in Kzn can't behave. The cops just stop being around from after New Years. It seems like they all take leave or rest after there hard work during the peak break. Now all the locals realize no more cops let's go party and do what we like. Not on. Something has to change. I must say we'll done to the few cops on duty. We know you are trying your best with limited or no resources. To our local security companies, thank you ... we do appreciate your efforts aswell.

It seems lawlessness, drinking and vulgar behavior are happening at every beach, we also have numerous vehicles no licence plates coming into Blythedale revving loud music and unruly spectators flocking in to watch the drivers revving and spinning in our car park, over the weekend we also had an incident where youngsters were drinking on the beach went swimming and a 19 year old had to be rescued from the sea drank some more went back into the water and drowned! Where will all this end!!!

Shocking to hear when the so called cops are on the spot and then this happen

What happened to Thompson's Bay? Used to be the safest of all Ballito beaches, but now I hear stories all the timeπŸ€”.

Thompson’s was closed then they open it, now this🀦🏿

This is shocking

It is becoming a den of sin.!! Needs some urgent Police attention.?

We have such a great team of dedicated people looking out for us, may you all stay safe and thank you 😊

We need a special police task team to look into the causes of all these terrible accidents. Suspension of licenses needs to happen

Thank you guys for relentlessly giving your time, passion and hard work!!!

Excellent work 1st responders

I have travelled that road between The Manor and Tongaat for 30 years almost daily and have NEVER seen a speed trap. Illegal sand mining on tongaat river with drivers earning 'pay per load' sees tipper trucks going over 100km an hour.
